Kulturnatta Tromsø is an exciting, “behind the scene” cultural journey through Tromsø. During the course of one night, Tromsø ́s inhabitants will experience the abundant and diverse cultural happenings that the city has to offer. Museums, libraries, theatres, music venues, churches and many other cultural institutions will open their doors until late with events, tours, talks and performances.
Kulturnatta is Tromsø's answer to Berlin's “Lange Nacht der Museen”, Paris's "Nuit Blanche” and Rome's “Notte Bianca” - a magical October night where all the coolest cultural institutions in town open their doors for everyone, for free. Last year we enjoyed the event so much that we decided this year we want to take part in making it. Et voilà!:
Friday October 2nd you are welcome to come by and get to know us a bit better.
All rooms will be open and we serve soup, piano, guitar, stories, beds and books - quite simply bits and pieces of what makes us who we are.
Come by just for a chat or some yummy soup, or help us make our home come to life: try our piano, sing a song, make a little guitar concert, read a poem, tell a story. Meet other people, make some new friends, check out our lovely wallpapers, try our beds, have a rest, write on our walls - quite simply: come as you are and enrich our house with your presence.

To be lost on a foreign street not knowing something important. To long for a welcome, an answer to enter into, a place to leave one’s homesickness by the door and feel just right. That’s how our story we began - come by and see how it continues :)
